Earlier this year I polled you on Instagram about capsule wardrobes, and a large majority of you said you LOVED capsules. So while I don’t necessarily always do a capsule myself, I’m working hard to create capsule ideas for you to try out in your own life to simplify your getting ready routine and further refine your personal style. This mini summer capsule would definitely work for a couple of weeks, and possibly even a full month. When I create a capsule, I try to stick to a general color palette to make sure everything can easily mix and match. For this one, I chose with white, denim, black, and tan/rust hues.
This capsule includes some of my favorite Everlane pieces, but I’ve included alternatives for them if you choose not to shop there right now. You can read more about my current stance on Everlane here.
denim jacket / ivory jacket / black sweater (similar) / white sweater (similar and similar)
white shirt / striped tee / tan shirt (and similar) / black shirt (and similar)
black tank / white tank / denim shorts / white shorts
rust jumpsuit (similar) / jeans / white jeans / black leggings (similar) / white dress / black dress
white sneakers / woven mules / brown sandals / lace up sandals (similar)
sunglasses / woven hat / white cap / dark red bikini / minimalist gold jewelry

Here are some quick outfit ideas with the pieces in the capsule (I actually plan to use this capsule for at least part of July because I love it!)…
