10 Rules for Effortless, Everyday Style

In this series, I share some simple tips for leveling up your daily looks.

Guys can be really hard to shop for (at least I feel that way!). But I did some thinking and chatted with Brian and came up with 13 ideas for you. I hope this makes your shopping a little easier this year!

Stitchfy Dad Embroidered Hat, $18.99 // This gift is equally cute for a soon-to-be dad, a new dad, or your dad. Available in 9 colors.

Smart plug for Alexa, $24.99 // If you know the recipient already has an Alexa, give them the gift of doing less with this smart plug. With it you can schedule lights, fans, and appliances to turn on and off automatically, or control them remotely when you’re away.

Counterman Conditioning Beard Oil, $30 // This is my husband’s favorite beard oil and he highly recommends it to any other guys out there sporting beards in 2020. It’s nourishing, conditioning clean, and smells great.

Yeti Rambler Tumbler, $30 // I feel like you can’t go wrong with one of these. We have a couple of them and use them every week for coffee during morning family walks. They also make a 10 oz lowball size, which is a good option for cocktails.

Rustic Rose Surfboard Bottle Opener, $39.99 // Handmade vintage-style surfboard wall mount bottle opener with a strong hidden magnet to catch bottle caps.

Native Union Dock Wireless Charger, $69.99 // A simple, sleek way to charge his phone that works with iPhone 8 and later.

Mark & Graham Monogrammed Wallet, $89 //  The monogram makes this classic and practical guy gift extra meaningful.

Our Place Always Pan, $95* // Perfect for the guy who loves to cook. Usually $145, use the code SUPERSALE to snag it for $95 right now. This pan is sleek and well-designed, and replaces your fry pan, saute pan, steamer, skillet, saucier, saucepan, non-stick pan, spatula, and spoon rest. I’m partial to the ‘steam’ and ‘char’ colors.

Supply Starter Set, $125 // Fun fact: this company was started by two of our best friends, and they even got a deal on Shark Tank last year! We obviously are big fans and love supporting our friends, but objectively speaking their products really are so high quality and make a great gift for any guy.

Wooden Cornhole Set, $129 // He can use it in the backyard, the driveway, in a big room in your house, or haul it with him to the beach. Also a fun activity you can do together.

AirPods Pro, $199 // I included this in my Gifts for Her as well because they truly are perfect for pretty much anyone on your list. They have significantly increased my ability to focus while working at home or from an outside table at a coffee shop, and they’d be an especially great gift for 2020 when pretty much all of us have odd new home office spaces to work with.

Krewe sunglasses, $255+ // For the fashion forward guy in your life, these small-batch, handcrafted sunglasses are super cool and made to last. They even offer a second chances” program: “your first broken or damaged pair of KREWE frames is covered by our Second Chances program. If you purchased a full-price frame, we’ll replace them with a brand new pair.” My top picks are Scout, Lafitte and Prytania.

Ratio Coffee Maker, $345 for the Six and $495 for the Eight // This would be a really nice gift for the coffee-obsessed guy in your life. We got the Six earlier this year when we ditched our Nespresso machine to start brewing Jaclyn James Co’s Rise + Shine blend. It’s essentially a beautifully designed, minimalist, automatic pour-over brewer. The only difference between the Six and the Eight is the look—they brew the same temperature and capacity and work exactly the same. See more on the Six in a video I did here.
