As soon as I saw the new Minimal Capsule from VETTA, I knew this sweater needed to be mine! I literally ordered it the day it came out and am so, so happy with the quality and fit. It is the perfect backdrop to the new Kenzie Necklace I’m releasing later this week, so I thought I’d style them together and share a bit about both of them.
So why is this sweater so wonderful? Designed to be worn several different ways, it is incredibly versatile (and clearly bump-friendly, too!). I’m wearing it as a crew neck sweater with the buttons in the back, but it can also be turned around with buttons in the front, worn as a loose cardigan, and even has a removable turtleneck option. I love how it works with skinnies and boots, and also imagine I’ll be wearing it with leggings quite a bit in the early newborn days once baby girl arrives.
Fit-wise, I went with a small and feel confident in the choice. Obviously I love that it allows for my bump, especially since I still have a month to go, and I also wanted to really ensure an oversized fit. As someone with a curvy lower half, I knew the XS might fit on top but could potentially get snug in the bum area. The small is a perfect fit and I think it will be even after the bump! The slouchy fit and slightly cropped sleeves make it oversized in a flattering way, which is honestly so hard to nail!
Now, the necklace. These beads were actually a major impulse buy when I was at the bead store last time. As I was checking out, they brought a long strand of them over to me because they thought it might be right up my alley and I bought them right then and there. They are made of shell and have a really nice weight and ivory/tan coloring to them.
The necklace will be in my shop later this week, and the sweater is currently available (along with the entire Minimal Capsule) from VETTA. If you’re interested in the entire 5-piece capsule, which makes 30 (!!!) outfits, you can snag it for $529 with the code MINIMAL.
