I added a new piece of jewelry this weekend that I’m calling my “technology ring” and I wanted to tell you all a little bit about it.
Ringly creates smart jewelry and accessories that keep you effortlessly connected to the things that matter most. Their core belief is that technology can be more discreetly integrated into our lives. I’ve been trying mine out for a week now and I have to say, I’m pretty into it!
It’s incredibly beautiful on its own, regardless of the tech piece. I don’t normally wear jewelry I don’t design myself, but since I don’t make rings and definitely don’t make technology rings, I was eager to see if this ring lived up to the hype. Here’s how it works:
I have alerts set up for phone calls, text messages and calendar updates, but there are tons of apps you can connect to it and you can add or remove alerts anytime based on what you want to be notified about. One way I can see myself using this ring is for date nights. I always hate having my phone out on the table, just in case the babysitter calls about something, and with the ring on I could have my phone tucked away knowing the ring would alert me if I needed to check it.
Unrelated to the ring, I am majorly digging this outfit. It just might be the perfect San Diego fall look. The sweater is thick and cozy looking, but doesn’t keep you too warm or show sweat. It has a boxy fit that is perfect for pairing with super slim jeans. The sizing is true to size, but does have slightly larger armholes to make layering easier if that’s how you want to style it. I tried on the extra-small and small and went with size small because I wanted a more relaxed fit and love the larger armholes.

(Disclosure: my ring was provided by Ringly, and I’ve loved the freedom I feel from being less attached to my phone since I started wearing it. I may make a commission if you use the links in this post to purchase one. Thank you for supporting the brands that make Thoughts by Natalie possible!)
