10 Rules for Effortless, Everyday Style

In this series, I share some simple tips for leveling up your daily looks.

Whether for Christmas, New Year’s Eve, or any other holiday get-together, a midi skirt is a feminine piece that can be incredibly flattering when styled properly. I recently found an amazing velvet pleated midi skirt at Target, which is what I’ll be styling for you today.

If you happen to snag this exact one, I recommend choosing your size based on your waist—I sized down so it would fit right at my natural waist. I’m also linking TONS of other skirt options for you to help you find your perfect one. They all have a similar shape to this one so they could be styled similarly.

In every look, I’m wearing the Sydney Hoop Earrings in Metallic Gold Wood. As far as hair and makeup go, this is the lip color I’m wearing and this is how I do my top knot lately.
