In San Diego, many of the clothes in my closet are year-round clothes. We really don’t have distinct seasons and almost everything can be worn anytime, so I use accessories to make my clothes feel seasonally fresh. Shoes, bags, hats, jewelry and scarves are a minimalist’s secret weapon. They can transform the most basic of outfits into something that feels modern, cool and on-trend.

This white button down has quickly become a favorite of mine, and I really love it paired with these light wash jeans. For a summery look, I rolled the jeans at the ankle for a more cropped fit, and added slide sandals, a new Camille Necklace I’ll be adding to my shop (very soon!), and this gorgeous half-moon bag I snagged recently. It’s a great size to carry around my everyday essentials, even with a baby—I absolutely can fit a couple of diapers, a pack of wipes, a couple of small toys and my phone, keys and money in there.
