Shorts and a tank top—does it get any more summery than that? We shot these photos over the weekend while we were playing at the local botanical gardens with Jack. He loves that place so much! And we feel the same about it—lush greenery, wide open spaces, so many nooks and crannies to explore. It’s the dreamiest. And pretty much a perfect way to kill time until your toddler naps.

These shorts have quickly become an easy item to throw on when I’m in a rush and need to get dressed quickly (aka most days). And this striped trapeze tank is a perfect match for the shorts and really ideal on warmer days, as it doesn’t cling too close to the body. I finished off the look with some of my favorite accessories as of late: my new Marisa Necklace, aviators, hair extensions (for a long braid that stays in place), simple sandals, and a giant tote to carry everything I “need.”
