We spent Thanksgiving week at my parents’ house in La Quinta and it was just the dreamiest. These are some photos we snapped on Thanksgiving Day when we took the golf carts out to look for Big Horn Sheep—and we found some! Jack was absolutely fascinated and only slightly frightened by them.

Although stripes are my favorite pattern, black gingham is a close second (also seen here). Traditionally the pattern is more preppy than my personal taste, but the black and white combo adds some edge that I love.
