Leopard mule loafers are a versatile item that add a pop of boldness to so many different outfits. I grabbed these ones in the Nordstrom sale to try out, but there are so many similar options out there that I’ll link for you right here for easy access:
- Similar option 1
- Similar option 2
- Similar option 3
- Similar option 4 (only $25)
- Similar option 5 (pointed toe)
- Similar option 6 (designer option…I want these!)
- Similar option 7
In every outfit, I’m wearing my Sydney Hoop Earrings in Mini Brass Squares, available on August 1st at natalieborton.com. All of my clothes are true to size unless otherwise noted.

Bodysuit (c/o) / Wide leg crops / Bag
I love the way these mules help tie together the black and white look. The rust red bag was a no-brainer for a pop of color. If you have more of a straight figure, I recommend sizing down in the bodysuit (I got my usual size, which fits perfectly in the bottom half, but is a little loose up top).
Chambray and leopard are a perfect match—the mules add some visual interest and boldness to an otherwise really basic summertime look.
Once again, here’s a super basic, simple outfit that gets an upgrade with a pop of leopard. The belt bag runs a bit big so I recommend sizing down (bonus: the belt and bag can be separated so you can use them individually as a belt and a clutch). My dress was a gift from Sonnet James, and I linked their similar version that’s currently available. It’s true to size.

Top / Overalls / Tote (same with stripe)
This outfit has me excited for fall! Just like the first look, the leopard shoe ties together the black and white (and tan) perfectly. I love mixing eyelet and lace tops with overalls—I grabbed this top recently from Anthropologie and recommend sizing down unless you have a larger chest.
Here’s an easy summer outfit upgrade for your tee and shorts. This crossbody is currently part of the Nordstrom sale and it’s a gorgeous year-round accessory—I love that suede stripe!
This jacket is a new addition that I can’t wait to wear this fall. It’s nice and stretchy, but has a good amount of structure. Since olive green is a neutral, it works well with leopard.

Jacket / Shirt / Leggings (also in plus) / Bag
Here’s another fall look for you! Leopard mules work so well with faux leather leggings. I recommend sizing up in the leggings for the best fit. To balance out the boldness of the leather and leopard, I opted for a low-key chambray top (I sized up for an oversized fit) and a lightweight jacket to brighten up the outfit. This bag is the same as the brown one in the previous look and is included in the Nordstrom sale.

Jumpsuit (c/o) / Bag / Similar headband
Lastly, I love this look for a transitional outfit when summer is winding down but it’s not quite chilly fall weather. Copper jumpsuits are a major trend right now, and this one is especially amazing because it is from a small, female-owned business that I love supporting. Their sizing can be a bit confusing if you’re new, so definitely read their size guide. My jumpsuit is the size 1 petite for reference.
How do you feel about leopard shoes? Love or no?
Do you wear a bra with the bodysuit?
I don’t wear a bra with mine, though the white one I have makes me feel paranoid so I’m trying to figure that out. Might try one of those sticky bras!
I don’t personally!
