10 Rules for Effortless, Everyday Style

In this series, I share some simple tips for leveling up your daily looks.

When it comes to fashion, I’m a fairly practical person. I hate the idea of getting special occasion items that can only be worn for one day and then get stuffed in the back of my closet. Instead, I like to use my everyday items and give them a little upgrade with the right accessories. Today I’m sharing 6 easy Easter outfit ideas using items you might already have in your closet. In all of these looks, I’m wearing my Julia Earrings in Teardrop (which will be coming to the shop later this spring in a new matte finish) as well as my Yearly Co. bangles.

Also, important bit of information—the Everlane Wide Leg Crops (shown below in “bone”) are on sale today for $50! They fit pretty true to size, but size down if you’re unsure. I’m typically a 2/4 and am 5’4″ and went with the 2 short and the fit is great!

Wide leg crops are still a fairly new style for me, and I really love the white for spring and summer! I’m wearing my usual size in the cami, though it’s roomy, so if you’re small chested you could definitely size down. These mules have the most gorgeous woven texture, are super comfortable after a couple of wears, and they fit me TTS!

This top is so, so lovely. The details and color are gorgeous and I know I’m going to get year-round wear out of it here in California! There’s also a dress version, and I linked that for you above. Size-wise, I got the small petite because I wanted the peplum detail to hit up high on my waist, versus lower near my hips.

This skirt is a recent purchase for spring, and I loved it so much I also ordered it in leopard. There are a few different prints available, and the fit is just so good for my height and shape. Finally a flattering midi skirt! I got my usual size small. Also, these sandals are my go-to summer sandals because they really elongate my legs and are comfortable to wear all day. They fit TTS. The cami is the same as the striped one above and has functional buttons.

Remember my jumpsuit style session?! Well, after sharing about the olive one, Hanna from Sotela Co came out with this copper one and I couldn’t resist it! I traded out the olive for copper and am so happy with it. The fabric is incredibly soft and her new jumpsuit fit is slightly slimmer in the hips than the one I shared. I’m wearing the size 1 (and I think it’s the petite length, but I’m not positive).

My favorite top from my April capsule is versatile enough to wear for Easter! I really like the mix of the warm rust color with bright white jeans. It’s roomy, but I’m glad I got my usual size.

Lastly, a gorgeous dress from my friends at VETTA—this was sent to me for a video I’m creating this coming week, and it’s so perfect for Easter! It can be worn with the buttons in the front, or flipped around for a high neck option. I sized down to XS.

What are you planning to wear for Easter this year?
