10 Rules for Effortless, Everyday Style

In this series, I share some simple tips for leveling up your daily looks.

New year, new code! As many of you know, I’ve been a Jenni Kayne ambassador for the past year and I’m so honored to continue to partner with them in 2021. My code for this year is Natalie15 and it gives you 15% off online or in store. Here are my top picks from what’s currently available—these are all items I have in my wardrobe or my home that I can confidently recommend:

Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan | I went down a size in this one! I’ve already worn it several times since it arrived last week. Pairs perfectly with skinny jeans or leggings and some mules or sneakers for effortless, everyday outfits.

Cashmere Fisherman Sweater | Their fisherman sweater is so classic and timeless, and the cashmere version is soft and cozy for the winter months. I have the cinnamon color that’s no longer available, but this “undyed stone” color is probably my second favorite option they have!

Cheetah Pony Hair Mules | This is my most worn item from Jenni Kayne! I purchased these myself in August 2019, actually, and have worn them over 70 times already. They fit true to size.

Suede Mules | I have these in both the saddle and an olive color that’s sadly no longer available. They go with everything! I used this suede protector on mine to keep them looking fresh.

Shearling Mules | Okay, these are definitely more of a fun vs. essential item, but they’re surprisingly versatile and I’ve been wearing mine more than expected (they were a gift from Jenni Kayne as part of attending a local event). They run true to size for me.

Alpaca Basketweave Throw | I’ve had this since last winter and it’s so cozy. It’s moved around the house to different spots and it’s just a beautiful and functional throw blanket. Only complaint is that it does shed a bit, so I avoid using it as an actual blanket unless I’m in my lounge clothes.

Cedar Glass Candle | This is the dreamiest winter scent! Notes of rose, tobacco leaf, fir needle, and cedarwood fill any room with a romantic, woodsy aroma.

Lastly, I did notice two new items (well, a set really) that I don’t have but am very interested in. It reminds me of my eco lounge set from last winter, but with a darker color and a little bit of a different style. Linking the hoodie here and joggers here.
