If you follow along on Instagram, you know I’m in the midst of a “spending freeze” and a major closet edit. Somehow over the past year or so, I’ve lost focus and my wardrobe is overflowing and not as streamlined as it once was. I’ve got unnecessary duplicates, “fantasy clothes” that I like but really do not mesh with my real lifestyle, and things I once loved but either don’t fit or don’t bring me joy anymore. I want clarity, and I want getting dressed to be faster, easier and more fun! One thing that has emerged in this wardrobe edit process is a renewed love for this basic boxy white sweatshirt from Madewell years ago. The way it’s styled here is usually the way I wear it (tucked into high rise jeans and paired with mule loafers), but I’ve even worn it out for date night with ankle boots or block heeled sandals.
It’s casual. It’s cool. It’s comfortable. Definitely keeping this one!! Sadly it’s sold out because it’s very old, but I’ve linked some similar options for you from Everlane if you feel like your wardrobe is in need!

I saw a white Universal Threads sweatshirt at Target and have been wavering back and forth on weather or not to purchase it. I may just need to bite the bullet!
