5 Ways to Wear White Straight Leg Jeans

I’m going to be real with you guys for a minute—it took me years to finally embrace white jeans and love how they looked on me. I was always paranoid about them “showing everything” or not being “flattering” and honestly I’m sad I missed out on them for so many years, because they really are such an essential part of my wardrobe now.

White jeans are honestly one of the easiest ways to transition my wardrobe into spring in summer. Any outfit with white jeans feels lighter, brighter, happier and chic. I feel so classy and cool when I wear mine! Hopefully this post will inspire you to bust out your white jeans for spring and summer, or finally invest in a pair that you can love for years to come.

While I do have a pair of white skinny jeans that I love (these ones!), my true favorites are the ones I’m sharing in the post today: The Cheeky Straight Jean from Everlane. They were gifted a while ago for a video I did with Everlane and I love them more and more the longer I have them. They have a high rise straight leg fit and the denim is thick enough that I don’t feel like they’re see through or anything. I size down in mine and have the ankle length (I’m 5’4″). Another thing I love about these jeans is that they aren’t a super stark white—the color is called “bone” and it’s more of an off-white, which I find is just a lot more forgiving when it comes to stains and such. (Side note: if you like even thicker denim, try the Super Straight Leg Jean. Very similar jeans, just with a thicker material that’s even sturdier and even less prone to being see-through.)

This is the jewelry from my shop that I’m wearing in every outfit (all coming back in the next month or two!):

Shirt / Similar bag / Mules (also similar)

Easy-breezy, classic and elevated casual. That’s how I’d describe this timeless and ageless look right here. Whether you’re 30 or 70, this look just works. I sized up in the chambray for a more oversized fit and I’m so glad I did! The mules run a bit small, and I recommend going up 1/2 size. These are also a similar look for less, and for these ones I recommend staying TTS. The bag I linked is the actually the same as mine, just a little bigger.

Top / Bag / Mules

I can’t get enough of this color lately, and I love how it truly works all year round. White denim makes it feel light and fresh for warmer weather, and the cheetah mules add a pop of pattern. The mules are 20% off with code Natalie20.

Top (c/o) / Similar bag / Mules (c/o)

Here’s another really classic look for you. The snakeskin mules add a bit of edge and pattern, and the brown bag warms up the cool color palette. I sized up 1/2 size in the mules, and the top is 20% off with code Natalie20.

Similar tee / bag / bag strap / mules (c/o)

This is an easy, effortless jeans-and-tee look for a casual day. The mules are incredibly comfortable but really elevate the look (they run small—size up 1/2 size). I initially just did a front tuck with the tee, but it felt a little sloppy with the looser jeans so I tucked it in all around and rolled the sleeves and it worked so much better. My exact tee is sold out but this is another option.

Sweater (c/o) / Similar bag / Mules (also similar)

Lastly, I love a good monochromatic look. The woven details give the look a springy/summery feel even though I’m wearing a sweater and pants. The mules run small and I went up 1/2 size. These are also a similar look for less, and for these ones I recommend staying TTS. The sweater is 20% off with code Natalie20.
