One of my earlier releases, the Sloan Necklace has continued to hold a top 3 spot in my personal necklace collection. The simplicity of it makes it easy to wear with anything that demands a long necklace, and the hammered detail keeps it from being overly basic.
A black swing dress is one of my wardrobe essentials. Pregnant or not, it’s an easy item to wear regardless of the occasion and based on how you style it, it can easily be a casual swim coverup, or a dressier night out dress. Here I did something in the middle—a comfy outfit for a little evening walk and lounging around my parents’ house pre-dinner when it wasn’t quite pajama time.
The dress I’m wearing is just something I found at Target, and these type of dresses are available everywhere. I look for a soft material—either cotton or a blend is fine—and of course the right fit and length for my body type. I find I look best when a sleeveless silhouette cuts in a little around the shoulders, and I always want something loose like this to fit several inches above my knees to avoid looking swallowed in fabric.
This necklace will be available to purchase in both gold and silver on Friday morning—make sure you’re on the email list to know when it hits the shop!
