Both J.Crew and Madewell are having big sales right now—J.Crew is offering 40% off almost everything (including new arrivals) and and extra 50% off sale items with the code SALETIME, and Madewell is giving you an extra 30% off sale items with the code NICEONE. Since pretty much everything is on sale at J.Crew, I have a lot more selections from them than from Madewell. I’ve marked the items I own and love with an asterisk.

- Pointed toe ankle boots* (So comfortable, true to size, and truly a new favorite boot of mine!)
- Curvy black jeans* (Shown above—a great pair of jeans for fall)
- Pleated leopard skirt* (Runs big—size down for a high waisted fit. Can be dressed down or dressed up.)
- Cashmere crewneck* (Size up! So classic and comes in so many colors—I have the black one.)
- Sneakers with leopard accent* (I recommend going down 1/2 size)
- Chambray shirt* (I went up a size for a more relaxed fit)
- Gray v-neck cardigan (I’d size down and wear it as a top personally)
- Cable knit sweater
- Gray puff-sleeve sweatshirt (an easy and comfy layer for fall)
- Black ribbed turtleneck (I have one from Madewell just like this and wear it so much in the fall and winter!)

- White button-up (Truly a timeless piece)
- Quilted long puffer jacket (Perfect for early morning dog walks in the fall)

- Slip dress in leopard or navy (Layer with sweaters for a casual look, or pair with heels for a night out)
- Black tiered dress (I’d style it one of these ways)
MADEWELL PICKS
