We’re in strange times and the world is feeling uncertain. We’re socially distanced and stuck at home and we can easily start to feel dejected (just this morning I had to ask Brian what day it was because without our normal activities they’re all blurring together!).
My original plan for this month’s post with Everlane was to share a spring capsule wardrobe, but in light of all that’s going on, I’ve modified the capsule to be specifically for the current situation: we’re all at home, either working or with our kids (or both!) and want to be comfortable but not feel sloppy. In this post, I’m giving you easy, simple looks to wear during this season of being at home more than ever before.
This 23-piece capsule is casual and comfortable for these days of quarantine—and the jackets are included as easy outer layers for taking a daily walk or going out to grab take-out from your local restaurants.
I’ve been working from home for years and one thing I’ve found to be immensely helpful in productivity and morale is that I GET DRESSED every single day. I brush my hair and do some minimal makeup and put on REAL CLOTHES and I feel like a real human who can get things done.
I hope this capsule helps you find a sense of normal as you create new routines for yourself and wait out the COVID-19 storm. Stay safe and healthy, and stay home if you are able!
