Have you heard of Dudley Stephens yet? I honestly never had until I noticed my friend Ailsa (@_happygocurly_) talking about them all the time. After seeing her wear hers over and over and over again, I finally decided to invest in one for myself and I totally get what all of the hype is about now! Think about the coziness of a sweatshirt or fleece, but with the chic structure of a turtleneck. The one I bought for myself is gray and I wear it regularly around the house since it’s still 90 degrees here in San Diego, and today I’m styling their Park Slope turtleneck in the new camel color (that my friends at Dudley Stephens kindly sent over to me) to show you how easily this piece can fit into the mix of a well curated wardrobe. The turtleneck fits pretty true to size, but if you are unsure or if you have a larger chest/broader shoulders I’d recommend sizing up.
In all of these outfits, I’m wearing my Emma Hoop Earrings in Mini Brass Bicone (available on Tuesday!) and my Yearly Company bangles.
Below are 5 looks for you, and I’ve also put together an IGTV video over at @natalieborton—and if you pop over there you’ll see that we’re giving away 2 gift cards to shop Dudley Stephens so be sure to check that out!
I tied in the camel tones from the turtleneck with a pop of cheetah print in my mules (which, by the way, are still the best purchase I made this year!!), and to create more depth I reached for an olive bag. I like the way the destroyed denim balances out the preppy vibe of the turtleneck here.
Since the camel color is pretty close to my skin tone, I felt like I needed to add in some black to create depth in this outfit. I really love the mix of camel and white for fall (it feels so luxurious to me!). These crops have lots of stretch and are some of the best mom-pants I own—I feel so comfortable in them all day and can freely run around after my kids, sit cross-legged on the floor, etc. I find that they’re pretty true to size, but if you’re between sizes or have a couple sizes that you often take, go with the smaller size. The mules definitely run small and narrow—I went up 1/2 size but could’ve done a full size probably!
Camel and leopard are a match made in heaven. I love the way this bag ties together the black and camel so effortlessly and creates cohesion. These jeans run big, so I sized down in mine! The mules definitely run small and narrow—I went up 1/2 size but could’ve done a full size probably!
Though I’d wear this any day, this for sure qualifies as a school drop-off outfit. Leggings and a fleece are basically pajamas, but thanks to the faux leather and the shape of the fleece and some fancy flats, it looks put-together. These leggings are a fall and winter staple for me and I can’t recommend them enough. I recommend sizing up if you can.
Yet again, a perfect school drop-off outfit (or casual weekend brunch or travel day look!). Just like the outfit above, this feels like cozy pajamas but looks elevated. I was SWEATING in this outfit styling it here for you, so if you live in a cold climate here’s an outfit idea for you! So warm. The shoes I have are mesh, but you could easily swap them out for a leather sneaker (maybe these?) and some low cut socks for a chilly fall day.

Hey Natalie, what size did you go with for the turtleneck?
I got the small, which I’d consider my typical size.
