The necklace I’m wearing in this outfit is one that’s quickly become my favorite piece I’ve ever designed. Not only do I love it overall, but I also love what it represents. On Saturday, June 11th my small business dreams are coming true—I’m doing my first-ever pop up event at my very favorite store, Madewell! And as part of that, I designed three special pieces to release at the event before they get released online. And this one—which I’m calling Dylan—is one of those pieces!
I still feel like I need to pinch myself to prove it’s not a dream. I honestly can’t wait! I hope all of you who are in Southern California will come out to the event, even if just for a couple of minutes. I’d love to see your face! They’ll be serving Ironsmith Coffee Roasters coffee and Home Bakeshop donuts, and I’ll have my whole inventory of jewelry as well as those three new pieces I’m releasing that day. It’ll be a great opportunity to see before you buy, get some styling tips, as well as skip paying for shipping 😉 Get all the details here!
As far as the rest of this outfit goes, everything except the necklace and the shoes are Madewell, because I’m addicted of course. I found the hat on super sale about a week or two ago and snagged it right up, but sadly it isn’t available anymore, so I’ve linked to similar options. The tank is also a newer purchase—I really love the contrast of the front and back, the fact that it’s striped (always a good thing!), and that it’s a little longer in the back than in the front.
