Okay guys, let’s talk about LikeToKnow.it. One thing I know about it for sure is that it is a very polarizing technology! Some of you love it, some of you hate it, and today I want to talk a little bit about why I think it’s a pretty great resource if you are someone who likes to shop the items I share on Instagram. 

The reality is, there are two sides to my business: the shop side (where I design, make and sell jewelry to you!) and the Instagram/blog side (where I share my #legitmomstyle and share the details with you). I make money when you buy jewelry, and I make money when you shop using my links. It costs you nothing when you shop through my links—I make a commission from the store owners, sort of like a referral fee. Historically I’ve just used those links for “swipe ups” on my Instagram story as well as for product links in my blog posts, but I recently realized that the LikeToKnow.it app is actually a really easy way to give you guys access to the links. I personally have loved using it to follow my favorite people on Instagram and shop their stuff.

Now that I’ve cleared that up, let’s talk about how LiketoKnow.it works (it’s free!). Through the RewardStyle App, I upload photos I want to share with you. Then I can select the products shown in the photo (or very similar ones) to link for you. From there, the app generates a unique link I can share with you, which includes the photo and the product links. From there, anyone that has the LiketoKnow.it app who takes a screenshot of my photo or is following me on the app will have instant access to all the sources from that photo in the app.

And then when you click on a specific image for links, this is what it looks like:

You can click on those hearts to save items to your wishlist if you aren’t quite ready to make a purchase but might want to snag it later, or if you click on the product image you can shop it right away. See? SO EASY! And did I mention it’s a free app? It’s really a win for everyone involved—I can give you the specific links to my outfits all in one place, brands get sales when you shop what I wear, and you don’t have to search endlessly to find that little black romper or pretty yellow sweater you saw me wearing. Win-win-win!
