10 Rules for Effortless, Everyday Style

In this series, I share some simple tips for leveling up your daily looks.

LOOK 1: Tote bag / denim shacket / cargo jeans / heeled sandals

Double denim, elevated. Last month I fell in love with a vintage denim shacket that my friend ended up buying, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. When I saw this one from Sezane I knew I needed to try it!! It doesn’t yet have the lived-in vintage feel of that 70s chore coat, but with lots of wear it will get there for sure. I absolutely love it with the matching jeans and the brown accessories. I felt amazing in this outfit all day long!

LOOK 2: White shirt (runs big) / cropped white jeans / tote bag / striped cotton sweater

Light, airy and comfy. Ever since last summer I’ve loved wearing my oversized button downs with just one or two buttons — it creates some really great movement, shows the high waist of my pants, and also is incredibly comfortable to leave the shirt untucked! I just wear a minimalist bralette underneath mine.

Love this look! Could you compare this white button down with the Ayr white button down shirt that you wear. Size, weight of fabric, sheerness etc.
    thanks!
