I really hope the off shoulder trend never ends—I love how flattering and feminine it is! I first fell in love with it with this piece (a total steal from Old Navy last year) and have since continued to add more of this silhouette to my wardrobe. It works really well with denim, which is an essential for me since that’s basically what I wear everyday, and it also lends itself to our generally warm California weather. The one I’m wearing here was designed by my friends at VETTA Capsule for Saks and can be worn 3 different ways—the way I have it, tied at the waist, or reversed with buttons in the back.

The rest of this outfit is pretty standard for me—I swear I wear these jeans 5 days a week. Madewell doesn’t sell this wash anymore, but the cut is their 9″ high rise skinny jean and it’s my favorite. They don’t bag out, and the denim continues to soften more and more each time I wash it. I will be wearing these until they fall apart. The bag is a new crossbody Lo & Sons sent over this month that will look great worn with lighter colors for spring and summer, and those shoes are my go-to block heeled sandals. They take any outfit from casual to dressy instantly.
