You guys, I found it. The perfect v-neck tee…and it’s only $8!! Target recently came out with its new line, Universal Thread, which looks a lot like Madewell. Unfortunately the fit and quality of everything isn’t quite what we all hoped it would be. Except when it comes to this t-shirt. When I was shopping the other day (Jack in the cart, Lucy napping in the ring sling), an olive green t-shirt caught my eye on the way to what Jack refers to as “the truck section” of the store, haha. Since I’ve been trying to incorporate more of the color into my wardrobe, I stopped and gave it a quick look. The color was perfect and the fabric was super soft. They only had XL and XS, so I snagged the XS and figured I could try it on at home and easily return it when it inevitably was too small or fit weird.
Fast forward to the try-on session and…It. Fits. Perfectly. I’m not even kidding when I say this shirt is BETTER than the Madewell v-necks I’ve been wasting $25 dollars on for years. I have plans to order it in 3 more colors: black, white and grey, of course! Size-wise, I’d say they run a little big, as I’m currently nursing (and therefore larger-chested than usual) and the XS fits perfectly. If you’re looking for some new t-shirts, definitely check these ones out.
