My Baby Girl Sprinkle

10.03.17

A little while back, a company called PartyKroo contacted me about working together to create an event that showcased their brand. After thinking for a couple of weeks about what kind of event I wanted to put together, my friend offered to throw me a baby sprinkle and I instantly saw how we could naturally make a partnership happen. Today I want to show you all of the gorgeous photos from the baby girl sprinkle I had over the weekend, as well as give you the scoop on PartyKroo and why I’m totally hooked on them.

So what is PartyKroo exactly? That’s the question each one of my girlfriends asked throughout the night, especially as our amazing “KrooMember” Emily smoothly and expertly refilled glasses of Rosé and brought over plates of tasty appetizers while we chatted endlessly.

In a nutshell, PartyKroo was created to make it easy to hire help so you can throw a party and actually enjoy yourself. Skilled KrooMembers like Emily are especially great, because they can also act as bartenders and keep everyone’s drinks filled. Essentially, they offer you an extra pair of hands, and perhaps most importantly they set up and clean up everything!!! That alone is a major selling point for me and one of the many reasons I plan to hire PartyKroo for a future event. Emily was there for 4 hours total (from setup to cleanup) and it would have cost $120 for the night had they not so generously “gifted” us the night of her assistance!

One important thing to note: PartyKroo doesn’t do planning, food or styling. To make it a complete event, PartyKroo partnered with Catalog Atelier for styling and we had Waters do the catering. If I had done this party myself, I simply would’ve handled those details on my own as I would for any other party I’d throw. The difference being that a KrooMember would get all the food set up once it arrived and make sure I didn’t have hours of cleanup afterward.

I personally met one of the founders, Lisa, before the party and let me tell you—her kindness and hospitality alone made me feel so good about teaming up with them to do this event. They currently serve San Diego, Sacramento and Denver—with more cities coming soon!

All in all, it was a PERFECT night and I’m so, so thankful to my friend Jacqueline for hosting it at her gorgeous home, for my girlfriends for leaving their kiddos at home with their husbands to come out and make me and baby girl feel celebrated, and of course for PartyKroo for making the night extra special and memorable.

P.S. My dress was lent to me by a friend, but this is a semi-similar one (similar in that it’s a black maternity dress with scallop details) from ASOS. My necklace is the 14K Gold Addison Necklace that will be available in my shop in November, but the gold-plated version can be purchased here.
