Hatch Collection Marina Top

06.13.17

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again—I really hope the off-shoulder trend doesn’t go anywhere because I am 100% all in (also see here and here)! When HATCH Collection offered to send me a couple of pieces from their Plage Summer 2017 collection to style during my pregnancy, this was the first piece I was instantly drawn to.

The neckline is so flattering on anyone, but I think it’s especially nice during pregnancy when your whole body is changing so much. Collarbones and necklines are always so beautiful and feminine and this really emphasizes that. Plus, this top pairs perfectly with my summery tassel earrings.

I styled it in two different but very similar ways to reflect how I’m wearing it lately. As I already mentioned, I love it with tassel earrings, but I also wanted to show how it looks with jeans as well as cutoffs and include some slightly different accessories for variation.

Ultimately I’m a really simple dresser, and I love keeping to basics. Neutral colors. Leather crossbody bags (my favorite!). Flat sandals. These looks aren’t earth-shattering but they’re real and minimalist and clean and feminine and you can be certain that I’m regularly wearing them in my daily life!

You know, #legitmomstyle 😉

Because several of you have asked whenever I post photos in dresses or tops with an off-shoulder neckline, I’ll link below to some undergarments I recommend trying out. I just hit 20 weeks (the halfway mark) and know that this top will continue to be a flattering and comfortable option as my bump continues to grow (and grow, and grow and grow!).

  • I love the off-the-shoulder top to!!! And I hope it’s here to stay. I have even had to give myself a limit and tell myself to stop buying anymore because I’ve accumulated about 20 or more of those tops. I am in trouble if the trend disappears by next year ha!!! Love that top on you and how it can be worn during and after pregnancy. I’m not pregnant but I think all their clothes are adorable!
