After making a return at Madewell a few weeks ago, I couldn’t resist quickly perusing the store and immediately found this popover tunic and bought it. It’s not a maternity top, but totally bump-friendly and nursing-friendly. It’s also lightweight enough to wear all summer long.
Kristin Ess Shampoo + Conditioner
Ever since the Kristin Ess line hit Target stores, I’ve been wanting to try all the products. My newest experiment was the Signature Shampoo and Signature Conditioner, and I’m totally hooked on it right now! It’s high quality, affordable, effective (my hair feels soft and my natural waves aren’t getting weighed down), and it smells great.
World Market Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree
I bought this after seeing it on the @chrislovesjulia Instagram feed and am so pleasantly surprised by the quality and size of this faux tree. It’s about 7 feet tall, and it looks so real!! Right now it’s in my living room, but it may end up in the dining room once we add art on the wall. We shall see—either way, it’s a keeper!
If you follow on Instagram, you already know my love for these new pajamas runs deep. I wear them constantly and only wear other lounge clothes when I need to wash them, haha. They’re soft and comfy and not embarrassing to wear outside for a little bit when you need to grab the mail or chase your toddler. FYI, they also have maternity pajamas!
Glossier Super Glow & Haloscope
I’m all about adding the “glow” factor right now, and these two products from Glossier are doing the trick. I use the Super Glow serum in the morning to help wake up my “tired mom face” and then I use Haloscope (usually the Moonstone shade) on the high points of my cheekbones and down the center of my nose for a little highlighting action—just swipe it on and tap to blend 😉
The Created Co Mug
I have a thing for mugs, and admittedly I have a lot of them! But the one I’ve been reaching for morning after morning is this giant matte black Coffee First mug that my friends at The Created Co gave me a year ago. I love how solid it is and the shape is sturdy enough that I’m less worried about it accidentally getting knocked over by a certain 2-year-old boy in my life.
