This is the last weekend of the month, which means it’s time for my first monthly favorite things post! Below is a round up of some of the things I’ve been into in April. Have a great weekend!
Califia Farms Salted Caramel Cold Brew
Although I skipped coffee entirely for the first trimester, I recently started to have a cup a day of this admittedly super sweet but super delicious cold brew and almond milk blend. I love the salted caramel flavor so much! It’s the perfect morning treat and as sad as this is, knowing I get to drink it in the morning makes getting out of bed way easier, haha. (For anyone else trying to keep caffeine intake lower but wanting a little boost, each 10.5 oz bottle has 80mg of caffeine.)
Madewell Maternity Skinny Crop Jeans
I was really skeptical about these, despite loving this brand so much. But knowing I could order them and return them for free if I hated them, it was an easy risk to take and I’m so happy I decided to try them out! I ordered my usual size and they are amazing! They fit under the belly, so getting used to a super low (6 1/4 inch!) rise took some getting used to, but obviously as my bump grows that’s going to be essential. Also, since I’m only 5’4″ the crop length on these makes them the perfect full length skinny jean for me.
Off Shoulder Dresses
These are so perfect for pregnancy and for the postpartum breastfeeding season, plus they are super flattering thanks to the way they highlight your collarbone. I love wearing them with statement earrings (like these from my shop). My newest find is this one from Madewell (currently on sale!), but I also have been wearing this Mayarya dress and this ASOS dress a lot too!
Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask
Motherhood and work don’t offer a lot of breaks, so putting a mask on for 20 minutes and reading a book or magazine before bed feels like serious luxury. I love this one because it makes my dry skin feel hydrated and soft.
Liane Moriarty Books
I’m not normally a fiction girl but this author is so good! I’ve already read What Alice Forgot and Big Little Lies and am currently making my way through The Husband’s Secret. Thank you to my gal pal Annie for the great recommendation!
Voluspa Panjore Lychee Candle
This smells amazing—it’s described as “a citrus-tinged blend of cassis and Asian pear”—and the light pink etched glass makes it a gorgeous decoration whether it’s lit or not. I recently bought it as a gift for a friend but am thinking I need to get one for myself to enjoy!
P.S. Not necessarily related to favorite things, but, I’ve started to add some relevant posts from the old blog over here so feel free to look around and see if there are any you happened to miss!
