10 Rules for Effortless, Everyday Style

In this series, I share some simple tips for leveling up your daily looks.

If I had to pick the single most versatile piece in my wardrobe, it would definitely be my black swing dress. I can wear it during any season, to any type of event and always be comfortable and dressed appropriately. It would even be pregnancy-friendly! It. Is. The. Best. I almost always wear it casually (because motherhood), but recently I’ve started wearing it for date nights and I love the upgrade it gets from a simple skinny belt and heels.

You’ll also notice that I have my hair extensions in! These are the dirty blonde color (you can see the new ombre set I have here). Overall I have a sliiiiight preference for the dirty blonde based on how my hair is colored right now, mostly because I feel like it blends more seamlessly. But I think from an outsider’s perspective they look pretty similar on my head, so it’s really a matter of preference. I love how easy it is for me to go from mid-length hair to mermaid hair in a few minutes!
